Hello,

I did some searching with no success as it pertained to word text.

I'm looking for a formula that would allow me to populate a column with random text names created on another spreadsheet (e.g. names like Mike, Stephen, Mary, etc.). I cannot have the patterns repeat all the way down the column.

Many thanks out there!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
The following is based on the scenario where the random names are in sheet "Names", and there are 20 names in column A starting in row 1.
Code:
=INDEX(Names!A$1:A$20,RANDBETWEEN(1,20))

Autofill down.
