hi all

I can't work out how to calculate the number of hours split over different time rates.

assuming
col a = 09/03/10
col b = 18:00
col c = 03:00

I need to break the hours down as follows:

col d = hours at basic (which is mon 09:00 - 20:00).
col e = hours at unsociable (which is mon 20:00 - 00:00).
col f = hours at night (which is mon 00:00 - fri 9am)
col g = hours at weekend (which is sat 00:00 - mon 00:00)
col i = bank holiday

I don't need any costing calculations just the number of hours broken down it to their proper sections.

So given the time above, you would get 2 hours basic, 4 hours unsociable and 3 hours at night, so cells would show 2 4 3 with blank cells for hours outside any range.

Can anyone assist please?

regards
