Hello All,

There is a formula guide that pops up under a cell when writing formulas. It is most helpful to ensure all requirements are met. I have only seen it in excel for PCs. I am trying to enable it in excel on my MAC, but I don't know what it is called. Any help would be most appreciated,

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
It's called Formula AutoComplete and can be enabled: RIBBON > File > Options > Formulas > Formula AutoComplete

Thank you for your reply. Your help is much appreciated. Although the option is enabled it still doesn't work. I guess I will have to buy a PC to use excel. It's unfortunate that MS's programs are not built the same for the two different platforms.

Pity it didn't work for you, I am not on a Mac so cannot tell. Anyway, welcome to this board!

Thank you. At least I know what it is called. It is something I take for granted on my work computer. I rely on it for the more complicated formulas.
