# Formula to Count Revenue

I want to write a formula that will count a new customer if there is activity in current quarter and no activity in the 12 quarters before. I only want the person to be counted as a new customer though if the current transaction is >1000.

I have this formula

=IF(AND(U7>0,SUM(I7:T7)<=0),1,0)

How would I edit it so that it will only count it as a new customer if the transaction in current quarter is >1000 and there is no activity in 12 quarters?

### Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

Does that formula not work for you? If it doesn't, in which way?

If I edit the u7>0 part to read u7>1000 I now only recognizes transactions over 1k right?

Just enter:
Rich (BB code):
``````=IF(ISNUMBER(LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+30,I7:T7)),
IF(ISNUMBER(U7),IF(U7>1000,1,0),""),"")
``````
