Formula to display negative numbers as positive

Hi,

I am using the following formula to subtract two numbers (if there are numbers in each corresponding number and row):

=IF(AP2>0,AP2-AO2,"")

Every once in a while, the formula result is negative which causes an error. Can anyone think of a way to modify the above formula to convert any negative results to positive ones?
