Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Hello

I am sure there are much more elegant ways than this, but this will work on cell A1:

=MID(A1,FIND("""",A1)+1,FIND("""",A1,FIND("""",A1)+1)-FIND("""",A1)-1)

Katherine, Good morning.

Suppose your data at A1

Try to use:

=MID(A1;SEARCH("~""";A1)+1;(LEN(A1)-SEARCH("~""";A1))-3)

Is that what you want?
I hope it helps.
