Hey All
Theres a known issue where if you upload an excel with formulas to other sheets within the same workbook to Sharepoint, you get a #Value error in the formula cells as this is not supported in excel online, the message is "Links to external workbooks is not supported in excel online"

Does anyone know if there has been a fix for this yet?

Currently all we can do AFAIK is sync the sharepoint folder to the desktop and open the excel file from there, this way formulas are kept the same.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
There's wide functionality that is not available with the online app (I like to think of the online apps similar in functionality to google docs/sheets/etc functionality), and I suspect that there are many things that will simply never be fully compatible.

I think what you have done is the best solution - have everyone sync the folder and use the desktop app to open files and that is what I have done for everyone where I work. That way everyone is working with the full-featured desktop app; there might be things that you run into in the future that are also not possible with the web app, like any kind of VBA.
