George, that would be a case of "user error." That would not happen if no one purposely changed the formula or VBA code manipulated the spreadsheet. Copying files doesn't change "formulas" in spreadsheets.

Thanks for your interest. We have not been able to either duplicate it or find the cause. The only possibility we can think of is a power variation during copy or save to the network. Why that would cause a mutation of formulas in random cells is beyond me. This message was edited by GeorgeB on 2002-05-02 06:54
