I need a formula that will calculate what the difference between two numbers is as a percentage of increase.

### Excel Facts

Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
kind of know what you mean, but how about posting back with a worked out example...

Why not give an example to exclude any misunderstanding?

trying to calculate last years income versus this years income, want to show what percentage the increase is.
\$13,716.68 YTD thru pp 13 2001
\$19,141.05 YTD thru pp 13 2002
\$5,424.37 difference
???? percent of increase

this sort of thing?

Format the results as percents

Thank You! That was perfect. I appreciate the speedy reply.
