Hi there-
I have a database that pulls in information where one field might have multiple answers for that one field, so when I include that field, it results in multiple rows.

i.e. I have a "Case #"as a field name, and I have a "Diagnosis" field and a "Primary Dx Flag" (Y or N) field. Each case has only 1 primary diagnosis, but, a case might have multiple secondary diagnoses. I want only one line per case, with each diagnosis listed in that one row. Unfortunately, the diagnoses do not have a sequence number or anything else besides the diagnosis code which makes it unique. How do I accomplish what I want?

Thanks in advance
Laura S

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Take a look at Cross-Tab Queries. There is even a Wizard to walk you through it.
