Hi,

I wanted to make a graph of resistivity vs temperature but I only have data for resistance.

The formula for resistivity is p=R*L/A

is there someway I can make the units on the x axis be labeled as:

50*(L/A) ...100*(L/A) ... 150*(L/A)

besides 50....100.....150....

I just want it labeled as L/A , not trying to insert values into the L/A

The graph itself should look the same regardless of adding the *(L/A) part.

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Welcome to the board.

You could set the x axis number format as General"*L/A"
