greater than/less than problem

Thanks so much for your help earlier. I ran into another problem.
Why is my sumif statement including numbers higher than 92.4?
Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

=SUM(IF(A3:A62<92.4>84.5,C3:G62)

Because not well-formed... Try:

=SUM(IF(A3:A62 > 85.5, IF(A3:A62 < 92.4, C3:G62)

Confirmed with control+shift+enter.
