I have "Product Code" in column A and Quantity in column B. The product codes in col A are not in order. What I am going to do is to add up the quantities of same items. In fact I have written an VBA to do that but I found that it takes quite a lot of time to run (more than half an hour). I would like to know if there is any faster VBA. Thanks

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
More than half an hour?!

Have you thought about a Pivot Table? It could do the job in less than half a second.
