Hey Team,

I've developed a dashboard but have come across one error and I am hoping someone out there can help me!

By using VBA code, I have columns which allows for multiple items in a drop-down list e.g. column A has the option to select Apple, Orange, Banana.

Is there a way to produce a pivot table which reads and counts each option individually?

*currently counts as apple, orange, banana = 1
*want it to count as:
*apple = 2
*orange = 1
*banana = 4 etc.

Please help!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Your data needs to be known....
But COUNT is one of the simple calculation options.

Ughhh. I'm so new to this forum I cannot find the simple icon to attach the data.

Cannot use count if because i need the output to be in pivot table form so the table changes in my dashboard when using splicers.
