This is a excel question, I posted in the wrong area.. sorry..

I need something simple to figure out set number of working days from the time an employee is hire for evaluations.

new employees that are hired work 4-day weeks

I need something to let me know when they hit the 30-working day date and something that will let me know when they hit the 45 day mark.

So say the start date is November 22, 2009, I would like to know when they hit the 30 working day mark and the 45 working day mark..

TIA..

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I would setup a conditional format with one for the 30 day mark and another for the 45 day mark

Excel Workbook
A
19Hire Date
2010/24/2009
2111/8/2009
Master

first one conditional format
=TODAY()>=A19+45
second conditional format
=AND(TODAY()>=A19+30,TODAY()<=A19+44)
