I have 293 pages of data, which tells me how long it took for 3748 requests for book loans to go from the requester (date 1) to being actioned by a staff member (1st action). Our measure of success for actioning a request is 5 days. I wish to work out the percentages for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 days and 5+ days.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Hi

Are you looking for an excel spread sheet solution or an excel vba solution.

Hi,

I'm looking for the solution in either excel 2007 or 2010. Yes a spreadsheet please. Can you tell me about the other version you asked me about too?

Thank you!

Hi

Your Problem seems pretty straight forward, so maybe I am missing a trick.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Try using the "Countif" function to count the number of occasions the lend is actioned on the first day then the second day etc. Then total the each of the results. Use this total figure to divide into each of the sub totals to give percentage. If not understandable, send me a e-mail address and I will send you an example file.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
