# Help with iserror

Trying to help out a friend with an excel issue:

I'm trying to make the following command return \$0.00 if it returns a value of less than .005 or if it returns an error. I keep getting a divide by zero error and I cannot figure out where to put my closing paren to make it work properly.

The OR operand is (supposed to be) making it so that if I get an error OR I have an answer that is less than 0.005 then I should be giving a response of \$0.00.

=IF(OR((ISERROR(C7/(C11-C13))),(C7/(C11-C13))<.005),"\$0.00"),(C7/(C11-C13))

### Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Try

=IF(C11-C13=0,0,IF(C7/(C11-C13)<.005,0,C7/(C11-C13)))

Try:

=IF(OR(ISERROR(C7/(C11-C13)),C7/(C11-C13<0.005)),0,C7/(C11-C13))

Try

=IF(C11-C13=0,0,IF(C7/(C11-C13)<.005,0,C7/(C11-C13)))

Thanks, that worked perfect for his needs.
