Hello,
I think this is a fairly basic question but I am new to excel. If i am writing a formula that needs to refer to a cell on another worksheet or work book how do i achieve this.

Thanks,
Carlos

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Hello and welcomwe to the board.

If it is on another woksheet you can just go to that worksheet and select the cell or type in something like this

=Sheet2!A1

If it is on another workbook, open the workbook and select the cell or type in something like this

='C:\[Book1.xls]Sheet4'!$A$1
