FORMULA BEING IN A3. thanks

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
What's tent?

You ought to be able to shade a given cell using conditional formatting.

Try using Conditional Formatting

Select "New Rule/Format only cells that contain/Cell Value is Equal To/=A7"

Select the format.

Hope this helps.
