I am interested in finding out how I can highlight the row I am currently working in? When I move rows, I want the highlighting to move to the appropriate row. How do you do this?

Hi Aldo and others!

Thanks for this beaut addition ...might save my eyes a bit :)

Just one thing, my main columns go upto AM and when I scroll (pressing the right arrow) to the columns OFF the right of my screen there is a nasty flicker.

When I move around or scroll down off the first part of the sheet there is no flicker at all. Any idea what may cause this? Thanks.

Cheers Glenn

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi Ivan,

Thanks for your reply.

It took me a while to find which code I was using as there is so many! ;)

I am using Aldo's at the top of page 3 of this thread. I am using that mainly as I found it only highlighted the row as I didn't really want the column highlighted.

I see that your code has a function to stop flickering maybe I could add that to Aldo's or maybe if you don't mind to show me how to remove the column highlight in yours and just keep the row highlight.

BTW with the code I have it is fine on the screen when I first open the sheet and move from cell to cell on the screen, it is when I scroll off the screen further to the right and move from cell to cell. Hope it makes sense!

Cheers Glenn

Hi. The above link (post right above me) does not seem to go to the code in question. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Actually the code that I was looking for is the one were you can have conditional formatting/cut and paste/ and use the undue feature. The link that is provided takes you to the one above...it tells you to look below for an alternative code but that is nowhere to be found. Am I looking in the right place?
