How can I display column values pulling from row values?

On A5, I want to pull in A1's value
On B5, I want to pull in A2's value
On C5, I want to pull in A3's value

I would like a formula to do the above that I can copy and paste to put in each cell.

Please help.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
A5=INDEX($A$1:$A$3,COLUMN()) ,Drag it right to C5.
