HOW CAN I REMOVE A LETTER FROM A NUMBER SO THAT EXCEL TREATS IT LIKE A NUMBER??

HELLO!! I Have a spreadsheet that has a lot of pricing data on it.Unfortunately it also includes the unit of measure -- "M'-- for thousand. How can I get rid of the "M" and just leave the numerical price??

I'm running Excel 16.74 on a MacBook pro.

How about Find & Replace?
Hightlight range then Ctrl-H
Find what: /M
Replace with:
OK
