I hope someone could answer this question for me as it would save me a lot time because at the moment I have a calculator next to me. :)

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Excel provides no way of adding two cells together directly. The way I usually do it is to convert the numbers to binary (on a paper notepad), add them using twos compliment arithmetic and then convert the answer back to decimal. I then type the sum of the two cells somewhere on the worksheet. I also include a comment saying something like 'Sum of cells A1 and B1' so people will update the cell if A1 or B1 change.
