How do I clear ComboBox completely?

Hello! How would I clear a combobox completely? I know that there is ComboBox1.Clear, but when i implement that, it still leaves the last entry behind even tho there is no selections to be made:

How are you populating the items in the combobox? Is the item left behind an item that is in the populated list, or something the user typed in? Can you show all your existing code?
