how do I count from another cell if condition is met

I would like to count from Column B if Condition in column A is met
(Column A is the name and Column B is the price)

Laundry $53.44
Garage $19.98
Car $11.50
Stairs $24.97

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
you could have also created a pivot table to do ALL the categories
