Hi all, I am trying to change the metadata title name to the file name. I can get the file name in column 1 with no issues, but not sure from there.
this is for music files that don play in order, the files are named with numbers before the song title, but the metadata title does not have the number.
I want to change multiples files at once.
Any help would be appreciate.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
You're asking for a recommendation on software to edit meta data in batches? I use Stamp ID3 Tag Editor which is free to use.

I am using windows and not Mac, and the software is not free. or if you could provide a link to free software that would be good. Thanks

I'm using windows and there was no charge to use the software. I do get this prompt when starting and so far it has always launched and did so in this test.
