Hi,

I have been given access to a excel file shared with a group on sharepoint (Excel 365) to collect certain data. Once all the data is filled by the members in the group the file owner disables access to the file.

However, I want to keep a copy of the file with all the data (i.e. before the owner disables access). Is there anyway to create a duplicate of the file which will link to the original file and will self-update whenever changes are made by other members, so that I will have a copy which will be completely updated.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
If it is in SharePoint you should be able access previous versions (unless the administrator has that disabled).
