I have an Excel 2007 workbook that there is a worksheet that able to refresh the data when change the cells value in other worksheets.

I read her query has several [WHERE (X_PR_EXCEL.YEAR>=?)], and parameter is pointing to cells in other worksheets.

When I click on the result table, and click Data tab->Properties, the dialog is "External Data Range Properties".

I tried to reproduce that kind of method in another worksheet, setup a new connection, the query ask me to input parameter, and I point the parameter value to other cells, it retrieve data correctly.

However, the result worksheet cannot automatically update when I change the parameter cell, I need to use refresh and the query will ask me again the parameter.

I search Google but have no luck.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Hi and welcome to the board!

Are you using a parameter query?

Does her workbook perhaps include a sheet change event macro to refresh the query when the parameter cells are changed?

Perhaps you need to describe how you have set it up.
