How to get text labels on X axis of a plot?

I would like to plot this table

but have the letters in the Item column (A, B, C, ...) on the X Axis, not the numbers 1, 2, 3...

Is there a way to do that?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Looks like you might be using an X.Y scatter chart.
If you change to a line with marker chart you will get the letters on the X axis.
