Looking for a way to have basically a clean screen, or just the info in the sheet in Excel online. Hiding formula bar and menu.
I have found vba script with does this for sheets that are not online, but do not work once opened online.
I have found things to turn off in Excel, but those do not stay with the workbook.
Looking for something that will stay with the workbook when opened online.
I have users that will open the workbook online and wish to have more screen space by hiding the formula bar and menu.
Thanks for reading!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Thanks for that.
You would need to use an Office Script which is only available if you have a commercial version of 365 Office Scripts in Excel - Office Scripts
Even then I'm not sure if there is an equivalent to the Workbook_open event, as I believe that the scripts are stored locally, rather than in the workbook.
