So I have a sheet which gives me signals to buy and to sell, when there is no signal the cell has nothing but there is a formula inside, I want to make excel only recognize the cell when it is showing the signal. in the image we can see that the cell is empty but there is a formula inside. How can I make excel recognize as blank when there nothing showing?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
IF you want to use it at source for Other Cells Use these example :
VBA Code:
=if(L18="",0, Your Formula)
if you want count Blank Cells Use COUNTBLANK Formula
