How To Make Excel Startup Faster

hi,my excel file is about 37MB.it starts so slow,took about 2-4mins.
but after opened,all good.not slow anymore but just startup.
got any idea how to start it faster than now?

Try change Automatic calculation to manual

If it's not calculation that slows the opening of opthe workbook do you know what it is?

Are queries being updated?

Does it only open slowly when it's the only workbook? ie no other workbooks open

The calculation all is a bit slow cause i know ive many formulas but thats okay. I just want the startup goes faster.
Ive about 7 thousands of sheet in the workbook.Is that the caused?

Why do you have 7000 sheets in a Workbook? Of course it will take minutes if not hours to open that Workbook =)

Consider moving your project to a database system.

I didn't even think that was possible.

Even if it is I think it's probably worth having a complete rethink, starting with the general structure.

If you do that you might find Excel isn't the best tool for the job, and, as silkfire, suggested a database might be better.
