How would I implement a checklist saving function?

Hi, I have an Excel configurator for my machine which can be built differently depending on the parts chosen. What I would like to achieve is that each time I check all the selected parts, I would have to hit a "Generate Configuration for Selected Parts". Once that button is hit, it'll add Configurator 1 to a combo box. When Configurator 1 is select in the ComboBox, it'll populate various label control with the first one/ two/ three characters of the checkboxes (# of characters depends on the part). An image of what I would like to achieve is shown below:

So those are the various options that I can select. Now, the crux of the problem follows in the images below.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
