Hyperlink and VLookup help

I have a hyperlink in Sheet 1, Col C. There are blank rows in C so can not use a name range. In Sheet 2 Col A, I want to return a VLookup with the website from Sheet 1 with a friendly name.

So Sheet 1, Col C would have a hyperlink like http://www.website.com/lsdfsf

I want all the rows in Sheet 2 Col A to have a common friendly name Video Link. But of course the link will be to the particular website from rows in Col C.

It's not clear what you mean when you talk about not using a name range ... how does that relate to a single hyperlink? And what makes you think that you can't have a named range with blank cells in it?

Also, what VLOOKUP action are you talking about? You haven't given any information about what you want to do exactly.

That said, I think you need to use the HYPERLINK worksheet function, maybe ( guessing ) like this:

=HYPERLINK("http:\"&Sheet1!C2,"Video Link")
