I have an Excel workbook that I need help with. The following information has been changed to conceal its true nature.
In one worksheet, lets call that the master worksheet, I have a table with information regarding students assignments, there is their student ID, their name, their tutor, and which stream their assignment is for.
Column A = student ID
Column B = student name
Column C = tutor name
Column D = Stream A (cells in this column are either TRUE or FALSE)
Column E = Stream B (cells in this column are either TRUE or FALSE)
Column F = Stream C (cells in this column are either TRUE or FALSE)
I realize you may be wondering why there is not just one column displaying which stream the students are in but I need to work with another Excel sheet that has been inputted into the workbook I am creating, a new input will be used every month.
I then have different worksheets for each Stream. In the worksheet for Stream A, I want Excel to somehow check if against the TRUE/FALSE statement in Column D and then if the statement is TRUE to copy the data from columns A, B, and C
I think this may involve IF and LOOKUP statements but I am not sure
