Hello,
I would like to add if isnumber search to my tracker. In my tracker, column A2 each row list several different phrases (hold, confirm, auto, return, convert, etc) I want to have the formula look at each row in the column and find each row that contains “auto” and return “truck dispatch needed”. if “auto” isn’t found return a blank.
Thanks for your help

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("auto", $A2)), "truck dispatch needed", "")
