i need a formula for if the first 3 letters in e4300 = all then cut off those letters and write the remaining word. for example, if e4300 = allgemein then f4300 would return gemein.

i would think this below would do it.


=if(left(e4300,3)="all",(e4300,len(e4300)-3),"#")

i'm leaving right now so i'll check it when i come back
