I want to return a cell result for cell c20 that says this:
If cell b10 contains the word "Good", leave cell c20 blank.
But, if cell b10 does NOT contain the word "Good" then copy the content of cell b10 to cell c20.

Excel Facts

Who is Mr Spreadsheet?
Author John Walkenbach was Mr Spreadsheet until his retirement in June 2019.
Is it not simply:

Code:
=IF(B10="Good","",B10)

Entered in C20.

Or is there further criteria to consider?

That seems to only work if the statement in B10 begins with good but not contains the word "Good" whish is what I am looking for.

Vog awesome answer.

Vog reply is correct but as per BJSax requirement the formula be as below

=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("good",B10)),"",B10)

i just interchanged the true and false values.
