Enter a formula in cell J4 using the IF function to it whether or not the item Beaded Earrings should go on sale. It will go on sale if its current sales rank (in cell G4) is 8th or lower. (Hint: If the cell value is greater than or equal to 8, it will go on sale.)

So far I have =IF(
G4>="8" I'm stuck on the rest.

Thanks in advance

I entered this =IF(G4>=$B$8,"Yes","-") and it seems to work as true, I'm not sure if it's correct though.

Correction, V==IF(G4>=$G$4,"Yes","-") I still need to work in the "8"

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Is the data in column G the sales volume, or the sales rank? That is, do you have a list of sales figures and have to figure out the ranking? If so then please look at the help page for the function LARGE. If G actually has the sales rank then the formula above should be working.

I believe G is the rank. How do I establish rank on Column G? also, How do I factor in 8 to the equation?

Thanks, Sorry, Typo. I actually had that in my statement in the workbook. I just screwed it up here. My apologies.
