Hi All
I have an excel sheet that i use for work and would like to be able to have someones name come up against a selected number. The numbers are people's areas of work (ie Chris controls areas 3, 4 and 5) so if someone chooses to have something made in area 3, it becomes Chris's responsibilty.
The number is in cell F13 and is a number between 1 to 13.
The areas and people are as follows:
3,4,5 = Chris
1,9,10,11,13 = Dave
2,6,7,8 = John
I would then like the name to appear in cell B17
Cheers
PS. Names have been changed to protect their identity LOL

Note that you have left 12 undefined. I guess that's probably just a typo?
Let's assume that table is in the range A2:B14.
Then, the formula in B17 would be:
=IF(F13="","",INDEX(B2:B14,F13))
