Info fed from various workbooks to one overview

Hi all,

I've got one overview workbook & several individual workbooks.

I want certain information to feed through to the overview book. I know how to do this but there's a few other bits I want to do....


I want four cells worth of information fed through from workbook #1 & the overview to have the name of workbook #1 (minus the file type) in another cell next to these four cells.

Then as info is fed into the individual workbooks the overview receives the info & adds it below the ones already received, with the name of the relevant file next to it.

Is there any way of doing this either through normal Excel means or with VBA?

What is the error? Still 1004? Also, I missed a line inside that For loop:

Does it add any information to the page before encountering the error? You might try:

[COLOR=#333333]For i = LBound(arrEmp, 2) To UBound(arrEmp, 2)[/COLOR]

I also found another logic error. It might be the culprit, but I'm not sure.

[COLOR=#333333]ReDim Preserve arrEmp(4, UBound(arrEmp, 2) + finalRow - 7) 'Expand 2nd dimension of the array to hold the new data[/COLOR]

The UBound part of that line should have been looking at the 2nd dimension - UBound(arrEmp, 2)

Also, when I run the script it removes the text that sits in cells F2, F5, B7, D7, F7 & H7.
