Hi! I'm new to the community.

I just started a personal project as an exercise/improve my Excel know-how.
By the way, I'm using MS Excel 2016 at Windows 7 (my 2012 laptop cannot handle the Win10 OS due to no more updated drivers)

Anyway, I was just wondering if there's another way to expand a match lookup array?
For your background, my lookup value consists of concatenated month+time+:+number.
My function works well except I have to change the lookup array every time the hour changes.

I'm willing to venture the VBA work around, if any. I tried to google it but I'm only seeing the Find and not really the index+match functionality that I wanted.
If you have further requirements, just let me know. Thanks and have a great day ahead. :)

Hi, arthurbr! Thanks for your input. However, it doesn't seem to work for me. I tried naming my ranges. Does it work on multiple columns? For your visibility, the lookup array I need should span for 24 columns.
