Is there anyway to fire the Worksheet_Change event on a calc

Is there anyway to detect what cells have change value as a result of a Worksheet_calculate event. Worksheet_Change doesn't get fired for a calculation.

For example, I have cells that are updated from an external app (via DDE I think). When the update occurs I can trap it in Worksheet_calculate event, but I don't know what cell has been updated.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

From what I can find in previous post (should have looked first!) It looks like I have to store a range of monitored cells, and on a calculate event check each cell to see if the value has changed.

Is this the only way? seems a bit cumbersome
