Hi,

I am new to this forum and have searched through a fair amount of threads without finding a solution. I am using MS Excel 2007 and am having an issue when using MROUND and trying to round to 2.5. Unfortunately I believe it is simply a matter of pointing out an issue in my formula.

An example =MROUND((B3*0.85),2.5) is giving a result of 73 and not the correct answer of 72.5

Please can you help me find where I am going wrong.

Cheers, Tom

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Ah ha. Of course. Thanks for that. I was unaware of this because not all my values were in cells that had been formatted.

Cheers, Tom
