Hi New to the forum so this may have been posted before but:

I am plotting a scatter graph with the following data:

Lot # Potency
C1234 45.6
C2223 34.5

etc

When the graph plots it puts on the horizontal axis: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.

I want the text displayed in the axis not numbers

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi
Welcome to the board

A Scatter Chart is to display a y(x) function, where you have numbers in both the X and Y axis.

In this case you want categories (text) in the X axis and values in the Y axis and so you should choose a Line Chart.
