Line Chart Help

Given a sheet with columns of
  • Type
    • There are a number of different types, ex:
      • Accounting
      • Design
      • Development
      • Meeting
      • Admin
      • etc
  • Date
  • Hours

How do you create a (line) chart like similar to the attached where the hours/time is on the vertical access and the dates (by month) are on the horizontal and the lines represent the 'type' trends?

I do not see a way to attach a sample file. I posted 'EXAMPLE.xlsx' here:

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Maybe make a pivot chart, it will group on month (date in columns) and sum the hours (value) per Type (in rows).

PS: sharing data can be done with the XL2BB add-on.
