Linked table to Excel cell become #Num!

In Access i have a linked table to Excel some cells are numbers but when open in Access cells become #Num!

These value cells are actually formular in Excel.

What can I do to make them load correctly in Access ? Pls help. Thanks

I had the same problem, my cells were formatted as text but some of them actually contained numbers. In Excel that is OK but in Access it shows as the #Num.

Try going into your Excel table, go into the cell and type an apostrophe before your text/number. The data should then show correctly in Access (if your problem is for the same reason as mine was).

So instead of 123456 you would have '123456 in the cell in Excel.
