When I link to another workbook, I get a !VALUE! message if the second workbook is not open.

I'm sure that this did not use to happen.

Any ideas please?

Hi there,

What is kind of that link? Could you give me some sample about it?

Like this?
Code:
=HYPERLINK("[C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\[Sample.xls]Sheet1'!$A$1")
