List box help

none of my information in my list box are in alphabetical order. How can i fix this?

How is the listbox populated?

If it's populated from a query then just sort the query as required.

At first that's what i thought. then i remember that i put it on a form that when it's selected it brings up a members record. When i sorted by the record that i want in order & went back to the form it's still not in order.

Assuming that you are dealing with a member ID number, and a member name. Sort the query by member name and don't worry about the member ID, except to be sure it is in the query. That way the items in your list box will be in alpha order.
