Hello, I have done a search on this forum and web search and cannot seem to find what I am looking for. This is probably simple but I am not an Excel expert by any stretch. My workbook has two worksheets. One has item numbers and sum of quantity, the other has detail of each item with individual cartons. I would like to look up the item number on the detail worksheet and count the number of containers for that item. If someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Take a look at COUNTIF/COUNTIFS or SUMIF/SUMIFS
